We only collect the information we need to plan, confirm and deliver your booking:

  • Booking details — your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred travel dates, number of travellers and the tour or journey you choose.
  • Payment information — handled securely by our payment provider, DPO Pay. We do not see or store your full card details on our servers; we only record whether a payment or deposit succeeded.
  • Enquiries — any message you send us by email, WhatsApp or our enquiry forms.
  • Website usage — basic, non-identifying technical data (such as pages viewed) needed to keep the site working and secure.

How we use your information

  • To create, confirm and manage your booking, including taking your 50% deposit and the remaining balance.
  • To send you booking confirmations, invoices, itineraries and trip documents.
  • To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support before, during and after your trip.
  • To send you news about new trips and specials — only if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations, and to keep our service safe and secure.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the trusted service providers we rely on to run our business, and only to the extent needed:

  • DPO Pay — to process card, mobile-money and EFT payments securely.
  • Our website hosting and database providers — to operate the site and store booking records.
  • Our email provider — to deliver confirmations, invoices and the documents you request.
  • Tour partners and lodges — where it is necessary to fulfil your specific booking (for example, to reserve accommodation or an activity in your name).
  • Authorities or advisors — where we are required to by law.

Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies needed for it to function and to keep your session secure. We keep cookie use to a minimum and do not use them to build advertising profiles of you.

How long we keep your information

We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to provide our service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. When information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure payment processing through DPO Pay and restricted, role-based access to our booking system. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data at every step.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing messages. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Children

Our website and booking service are intended for adults. Where a booking includes children, it is made by a parent or guardian who provides their details on the child's behalf.
